Editorial Internship
As an Editorial Intern, you will contribute your writing and editing expertise while sharing your knowledge both within and beyond our network. This internship involves creating and editing weekly articles on current events and their societal impact, with each piece undergoing a peer review process by two editorial team members. Collaboration is key at NB, and interns will engage with team members while also partnering with social-justice-focused brands and businesses.
This internship is unpaid.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ability to participate for 2-10 hours per week for 3 months (opportunity to extend into a staff role after 3 months)
Attend meetings every other week with the NB team
Attend a once a month meeting with the Editorial department
Write 1-2 articles per month revolving around wellness, education, pop culture, or current events
Peer review 1 article per week
Assist in the creation of our monthly newsletter alongside our Social Media/Marketing department
Qualifications
Proficient Google Drive skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-directed and able to work without supervision in a remote setting
Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
A strong interest in writing
