Elements

FIRE

Fire is the element that represents energy itself. The fire signs of the zodiac are Aries, Sagittarius, and Leo. Fire signs express their energy in a very masculine manner, taking action towards anything that they may want. They love coming up with new ideas and concepts and taking charge of them. Fire signs are also the “life of the party” or so to speak considering they love having fun and being optimistic. Fire signs represent taking action and proactivity, as well as the drive for one to grow as a human being. The downside of fire signs is that they may have a temper and drive that could burn out too fast. They tend to be explosive in temper as well as in energy, as well as cooling down very quickly. Their temperament could put strains in their relationships as well as hurting others around them if not controlled. Fire signs are traditionally compatible with air signs, with air signs being able to give them the independence that they need. Water and fire signs could also make an interesting combo considering opposites attract, but could quickly turn sour if water does not respect fire’s need for independence and if fire does not respect water’s need for emotional security.

WATER

The element of water represents emotion, imagination, and going with the flow. Water signs often hide how deep their emotional realities and imaginations are, using distractions to desperately stay grounded within reality. The element of water represents Scorpio, Pisces, and Cancer as zodiac signs. Water signs are very in tune with their emotions and can also easily pick up the moods of others as a result of this. The signs born under this element are often viewed as physics or as having “a sixth sense” considering how easily they can pick up others moods and predict others actions based on said moods. Scorpio, Pisces, and Cancer are the writers, actors, and songwriters of the zodiac, considering they tend to romanticize life and try to find meaning within the human experience. Water is a shapeless element and the element of change and adaptation, hence why water signs base a lot of their life experience on their relationships with others. Although, this does not mean they do not require solitude of their own. In order to recharge, the water signs (especially Pisces) need a lot of alone time to themselves, spent in their own little world in order to emotionally reevaluate situations. Water signs are mostly compatible with Earth signs, considering they introduce a more grounded approach to life.
