Social Media/Marketing Internship

 In this position, you will be expected to share your knowledge of social media and collaborate with multiple people on our team. While unpaid, college credit can be awarded if enrolled in university/college. 

Duties and Responsibilities

Interns are expected to understand Necessary Behavior’s Media brand personality, brainstorm and create new content for our accounts about social justice, resources, world events, and pop culture. Communicating with other team members along with collaborating with other social justice-focused businesses is important to NB. Each intern will have the opportunity to analyze current trends in our market, work closely with other team members to provide insight and predictions and appear on our social media pages. Local Los Angeles interns will be invited to our in-person events happening around the city, although it is not required to be local.Duties and Responsibilities

  • Post 1-2 times per week on Instagram, TikTok, and Threads (MUST be comfortable recording yourself)

  • Post 1 time per week on Pinterest and Tumblr

  • Attend weekly meetings with the NB team and Social Media/Marketing Department

  • Present trends and analytics during our team meeting alongside the Social Media/Marketing Department

  • Assist in finding and maintaining partnerships with other local/global brands

Qualifications

  • Proficient Google Drive skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision in a remote setting

  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas

  • A strong interest in social media and marketing
